Food Share Food Bank serves Ventura County, Calif., an area rich with fruit and vegetable farms. Unfortunately, the area is also plagued by poverty and hunger. Fresh produce is expensive. The workers tending the farms often can't afford to feed their children the healthy food they help grow.

Three years ago today, I became an Aunt for the first time. Being an Aunt to my nephew is an awesome thing. I get to give fun presents; I get to have Skype dates with him, even though he is much more interested in seeing my dog than me, and every time I see him I'm shocked by how much he's learned since last time.
