Meet Jason and Alberta from Phoenix. Their children attend the local Kids Cafe. Thanks to the cafe, Jason and Alberta can rest easy knowing their children have a source of food each day, as well as an educational program.
Meet Latoya and Charles from Nashville. Their children visit the Kids Cafe after school for a snack. For some kids, this may be the only meal that they get during the day. It's something to look forward to for all the children.
Meet Joy from Milwaukee. She is a recipient and a volunteer at the local food pantry. For her, it's the look on people's faces when they receive food from the pantry makes her day--she's grateful to be making other people's days.
After working hard her whole life, Christina found it difficult to accept help from others -- but she soon realized that asking for help sometimes is okay. Every little bit she received from the Feeding America network food bank helped her feed herself and her family.
Meet Mama Bear from San Diego. She works at the local food pantry and gives back to those who are in need. Mama Bear gives back selflessly to her community and helps children who may not know where their next meal is coming from.
